Full-Time Account Manager (Remote)
Job Description
The Account Manager will oversee client initiatives from start to finish for our global technology businesses. This role will help capture client objectives in a variety of areas (mostly digital) including digital video creation, photo & video shoots, interactive renders, digital tools & experiences, collateral development and other types of digital and print outputs. Responsibilities include flawlessly executing all projects, identifying process efficiencies, development of client relationships and applying commercial stewardship. Reporting to the Associate Account Director, and in collaboration with other team members, the Account Manager should demonstrate a deep understanding of our business model and agency/team processes and be seen by the key client personnel as a valued and indispensable conduit between their organization and Designory/eg+.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Ensure seamless communication and delivery across competencies (digital & some, print, etc.)
● Provide cross-functional leadership and expertise as designated liaison between Designory/eg+ and client.
● Act as brand ambassador for the client; be immersed in the brand and the clients’ ongoing marketing strategy efforts and offering. Stay current and up-to-date on industry and client category best practices.
● Maintain & excel at account management and operational best practices and provide fresh insight and innovation on all existing procedures.
● Handle the fast-paced day-to-day operations of multiple client projects including project in-take, brief development & ownership and support in scoping, schedule creation and job execution.
● Ensure the account management team maintains full compliance with all financial procedures and policies. Be commercially astute, fiscally accountable, and insightful.
● Maintain thorough project status & milestone tracking and be willing and able to periodically provide support for new business initiatives within the designated account.
● Manage all client projects from client intake to final delivery ensuring final materials are on time and of the highest quality.
● Take responsibility for ongoing, clear & concise communication internally and with the client, tracking project progress and status against schedules.
● Spearhead and own internal workflows, identifying areas for improvement as needed.
● Lead and grow assigned accounts and support new business development efforts – This includes, but is not limited to, proactively seeking and identifying opportunities within the account for new revenue streams, supporting Account Directors in developing business development proposals, striving to better client and stakeholder relations, and maintaining the highest level of business partnerships.
QUALIFICATIONS:
● A recognized and appropriate academic or professional qualification is preferred, or significant relevant experience within the marketing or advertising production sector.
● Minimum of 4 years experience in client, project or account management roles within complex, fast-moving creative campaign/production environments.
● Proven success in a client management role with a demonstrable track record of delivering enhanced performance and delivering high-quality service to clients.
● Strong written and oral communication skills.
● Self-starter, independent worker & strategic thinker
● Excellent account & project management skills including knowledge of various methodologies and technology.
● Experience with project management workflow tools (e.g. Smartsheets & Slack, Teams, etc.) and Google apps (Drive, Sheets, Docs, Slides) a plus.
