CMT is looking for a collaborative, customer-committed, and creative engineering team member who wants to join us in making roads safer by making drivers better!

Mobile developers at CMT will have an opportunity to work on a variety of different projects. Here are some examples:

  • Developing features to engage and delight customers
  • Experiment with various behavior modification strategies to improve driver behavior
  • Building reliable mobile data collection services that run in the background

Responsibilities:

  • Train and guide junior developers on proper software development procedures and methods
  • Assist in solving complex problems and transform them into business solutions
  • Participate in code and design reviews
  • Full stack design and development with a focus on maintainability, usability, scalability and performance
  • Analyze and translate business and functional specifications and change requests into technical specifications
  • Provide required support and troubleshoot production. As needed, potentially subject to on call responsibilities
  • Follow company defined development and operational standards and processes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Proficient in both Objective-C and Swift and strong understanding of concurrency concepts
  • Strong understanding of application life cycles on iOS
  • Experience with different application architectures such as Model-View-Controller, MVVM, and VIPER
  • Experience building applications’ user interface with Storyboard or programmatically and deep understanding of how to use auto-layout to build adaptive apps
  • Understanding of Agile development methodologies (specifically SCRUM)
  • Experience consuming and/or designing REST APIs is highly desirable

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience adhering to official UX design guidelines from Apple and Google
  • Experience developing and delivering SDKs
  • Experience working with mobile sensors and location services
  • User level knowledge of issue tracking systems (specifically Jira, Mavenlink)
  • knowledge of Android
  • Experience with Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics
  • Experience working with Cocoapods and Swift Package Manager for iOS
  • Investigation and issue analysis from logs: SumoLogic
  • Instrumentation and correlation tracking/statistics with Datadog, Grafana
