Global Talent Acquisition Manager- Hybrid

The Global Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for overseeing the Talent Attraction Strategy and implementation for the WernerCo core business in North America and globally.  With over 5,000 employees on four continents, WernerCo has a global footprint with 14 sites including warehousing, sales, distribution and office facilities in the U.S., Australia, China, France, Hungary, Mexico, Philippines, Germany, and the United Kingdom.

This key HR role will manage a team of two to four talent acquisition specialist and work closely with various partners regionally to ensure a consistent service delivery model across WernerCo. This leader will drive and execute the talent attraction strategy, leverage data to drive decisions and optimize our work, and establish a world class talent acquisition function that supports business performance.  This role reports directly to the CHRO and conducts talent searches and manages the full cycle recruitment process for key roles across the organization.

In this role, you will serve as a talent advisor across internal Business and HR stakeholders.  The ideal candidate will provide meaningful insights on the external market, talent strategies, as well as, influence process improvements that drive increased TA effectiveness and efficiency. You will be responsible for the execution of full life-cycle recruiting for respective candidates – from candidate sourcing/identification and assessment, through offer process/negotiation and pre-boarding.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the strategy for establishing our global talent acquisition service delivery model through our people, processes and systems alignment.
  • Partner with HR and Function Business Partners across the business to understand the short and long-term talent strategy and develop and align teams to a Talent Acquisition plan which encompasses internal mobility, external talent acquisition, and overall process improvements
  • Build a data driven talent acquisition organization; establish key metrics to measure and report on effectiveness.
  • Design, manage and oversee all aspects of the full cycle recruitment process for the organization, creating best practice strategies and unification of processes around recruiting, interviewing, assessment, selection, and onboarding.
  • Based on market knowledge/research, external network and existing internal programs, the TA Manager will provide comprehensive internal and external recruitment strategy to meet demand plan.
  • Provide internal and external market data to client groups driving meaningful insights which influence our clients with their approach to specific requisitions and overall talent strategies.
  • Manage search assignments for senior-level, challenging, or highly specialized roles.
  • Partner with HRBPs to understand current talent and diversity gaps across client groups and develop customized attraction and engagement strategies which drive positive impact to the business.
  • Establish credibility with the business as a trusted advisor who provides expert advice relative to the integration of talent acquisition processes, program s and practices to drive efficiencies and increase productivity of the TA function.
  • Create and champion WernerCo’s recruitment branding strategy, in partnership with the Marketing team, to effectively attract top talent. Collaborate with regional HR on appropriate social media practices to attract candidates and ensure talent brand is well-represented in the increasingly competitive talent market.
  • Drive branding and recruitment strategies, positioning WernerCo as employer of choice and delivering a world-class candidate and internal client experience.
  • Drive the development of hiring manager and interviewer training related to behavioral based interviewing and hiring best practices with the goal of improving the quality of the interview and selection process.
  • Solid understanding of the Global Talent landscape
  • Prior experience and proficiency in ATS utilization, iCIMS, LinkedIn Recruiter and other CRM and social media channels which enable both internal mobility and proactive sourcing of passive talent
  • Must demonstrate executive presence and examples of strategic influence which led to specific solutions
  • Prior experience with the leadership and development of direct reports
  • Highly proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience, including high-volume, full-life cycle Talent Acquisition/Staffing experience for professional-level hires within a global Fortune 500 or similar size organization
  • Previous agency or search firm experience is a plus
  • Must demonstrate Talent Advisor behaviors/competencies, supported by a solid understanding of the business, external labor market, competitive landscape, and data analytics
  • Demonstrated experience developing and measuring key talent acquisition metrics and using this data to drive decisions.
  • Proven track record of influencing and navigating organizational boundaries and building strong partnerships with all levels of stakeholders to produce results.
