Reservation Specialist/Dispatcher

What you’ll be doing…

The reservation specialist/Dispatcher is responsible for communicating effectively between customers and Petmo drivers to schedule jobs (VIP ground pet transportation). 

You will be responsible for…

• It is the primary responsibility of the Reservation Specialist/Dispatcher to provide excellent customer service to our clients and Drivers/Chauffeurs as they facilitate the reservations and dispatch processes.
• Receive and process phone calls from clients as well as drivers in a professional manner.
• Track driver to ensure proper route and on time arrival. 
• Take and enter reservations into our dispatching software system.
• Monitor bookings / reservations email address for online and app bookings
• Manage incoming reservations from assignment and completion.
• Match appropriate amenities and chauffeurs / drivers per client needs.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and fellow employees alike.
• Manage active and pending trips within specified time slots
• Provide phone and email support as may be needed
• All duties are to be performed in accordance with company policies, practices and procedures
• Mathematical —- mileage, addition, multiplying and percentages. Training provided!

• Work Location: Remote
• High School diploma, completion of G.E.D., or equivalent. 

What skills & experience you’ll bring to us…

• Preferred at least one year of related work experience.
• Work requires advanced computer literacy skills and proficiency to operate in multiple windows and manipulate files.
• Basic skills using mobile devices such as cell phone and tablet
• Work requires intermediate to advanced skills in Google documents.
• Strong organizational skills to effectively communicate with all levels of management and outside agencies.
• Highly self-motivated and directed.
• Proficient in English (oral and written)
• Spanish +
• Customer service mentality
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• General directional knowledge of New York and New Jersey 
• Familiarity with the Tri-State area and pick up and drop off procedures at all major airports
• Technology

COVID-19 considerations:

Masks are optional for all drivers and customers. We provide drivers and staff with PPE.
