37 hours per week
The working pattern is Monday to Thursday 7.5 hours per day, Friday 7 hours per day,
38 weeks per annum, paid for 43.13 weeks per annum

Our Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND) support team at Abingdon & Witney College is expanding, as a result we are looking to appoint professional, energetic an enthusiastic Learner Support Assistant (LSA) with excellent communication skills to support our students on apprenticeship programmes based at Bicester.
This is a varied role which will require a dedicated individual who enjoys working with young people to develop their study skills, support with maths and English skills development and inspire confidence in the learners to succeed and achieve their full potential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with teaching and cross college support staff to ensure that all students progress and involves working with students on a 1:1 and shared support basis in the classroom. We work with amazing young people who have a range of learning and support needs, every day is different, and the support needs will vary. The college has a friendly, supportive culture focused on bringing out the best in every individual, training and support will be provided.
We are also looking for people who are interested in joining a pool of casual Learning Support Assistants where hours would be on a flexible hourly paid basis, which can fit around and suit your availability.
