Full-Time Content Supervisor
Job Description
The Content Distribution Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, support, and administration of the Content Distribution Department. They will hire, train and evaluate all Property Content Coordinators (PCCs) to ensure that Red Roof Inn property information, room information, policies, and booking conditions are properly maintained in all databases. This position will also oversee the Content Distribution processes for opening a new Red Roof Inn.
Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations, support, and administration of the Content Distribution Department
Interview and hire potential new team members
Coordinate and conduct new hire training with Content Distribution Senior Agent
Manage, develop and motivate the PCCs and the Content Distribution Senior Agent
Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with PCCs and Content Distribution Senior Agent
Conduct yearly performance reviews for PCCs and the Content Distribution Senior Agent in a timely and professional manner
Conduct coaching and disciplinary actions in a timely and professional manner
Provide escalation support to PCCs, as well as internal and external customers
Maintain accurate employee records
Process payroll
Schedule and lead monthly Content Distribution On-Site meetings.
Participate in weekly Opening Status calls with the team, ensuring the PCCs are successfully completing necessary tasks in a timely manner
Monitor Skype for Business for PCCs and respond to messages received
Conduct quality assurance checks and monitor the productivity of PCCs – both in house and remote
Monitor Content Distribution mailbox to ensure the productivity of PCCs
Assign Content Distribution projects as necessary, monitor project completion and evaluate the accuracy of completed projects; update Department Management on status
Oversee the Content Distribution phone line, ensuring calls are answered and addressed appropriately by all PCCs
Maintain knowledge of all departmental policies and procedures as well as communicate policy and process changes effectively
Together with Support, Department Management, and Connectivity Supervisor, maintain notes and documentation related to all department procedures
Delegate tasks and effectively manage time
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook (organizing emails across multiple boxes and archiving) and experience using the Internet to research and collect information required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Must have an acute attention to detail, ability to learn quickly, have excellent organization and time-management skills
Must be able to work under pressure, keep current on a multitude of programs/policies, and multi-task with the flexibility to switch focuses as necessary to meet urgent deadlines
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
Experience in a supervisor, senior agent, or team lead role preferred
Experience in hospitality or travel industry preferred
