Intevac, Inc. is seeking a Human Resource Recruiter to proactively identify and assess talent for the Intevac team. This full-time role will support our team with the objective of increasing the candidate pipeline by sourcing candidates, assessing qualifications and positioning them appropriately for job opportunities within Intevac. Role and Responsibilities:
- Manage full cycle recruiting process for technical and non-technical candidates ensuring a positive candidate experience
- Develop, implement, and execute hiring strategy for open requisitions
- Collaborate with management to understand their hiring needs and goals
- Partner with HR Business Partners to ensure continuity and fluidity with recruiting processes
- Ensure a positive candidate experience for all candidates regardless of hire
- Screen resumes and interview qualified candidates, facilitate interviews and hiring discussions with interviewers and hiring managers, and closing candidates
- Develop and execute tactical sourcing strategies to create appropriate candidate flow and pipeline to meet overall recruiting goals
- Identify potential and priority candidates through the internal resume database, candidate referrals, networking, and web sourcing
- Act as a liaison between interviewers and hiring managers and facilitate interview and hiring discussions with all parties
- Work with employment agencies and manage recruiting agreements
- Manage job descriptions database
- Develop talent pipelines for future hiring needs
- Promote our employer brand online and offline
- Maintain reporting metrics and generate reports on regular basis
- Experience with sourcing tools and methodologies such as Applicant Tracking System (ATS), LinkedIn, Resume Databases (Indeed, Job Boards), Social Media and Branding.
- Maintain data integrity through timely and accurate input of information into HRIS.
- Monitor and guarantee 100% of pre-onboarding requirements are met
- Coordinate the mentorship/buddy program; Play a role in developing internship and new grad experiences
- Understand our broader business and be able to answer questions around strategy, goals, and culture
- Other Human Resources projects or duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent in experience and/or 6+ year of related experience in Talent Acquisition and/or talent developing/sourcing experience for a search firm or in-house recruiting team
- Deep sourcing, interview, assessment and selection experience
- Ability to positively present our company and open roles to potential candidates
- Superior interpersonal and negotiation skills; demonstrated effective listening and questioning skills and is comfortable dealing with all levels in the organization.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new knowledge related to Talent Acquisition systems and processes
- Exceptional interviewing skills, and a passion for finding exceptional people
- Recruiting experience across multiple disciplines
- Ability to maintain strong relationships with all levels including external agencies, business partners and candidates
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills, work independently, handle multiple priorities with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Proficient with MS Office 365, Outlook and Teams
- Experience working in a fast paced, metrics driven environment.
- Strong knowledge of industry and technology trends, compensation and benefits.
- SHRM certification a plus
- Travel up to 20%
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
