The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) is seeking an Equity & Inclusion Manager, Internal (Analyst III) to support the bureau’s mission, goals, and objectives by providing leadership on equity and inclusion that impact the workforce and the communities we serve. This is an internal facing role working with employees and leadership to create an equitable and inclusive working environment for all staff. This position works collaboratively with a co-Manager, the Equity & Inclusion Manager, External. The Equity & Inclusion Manager, External supports community partners, PBOT citizen committees, and capital project teams to develop and support equitable engagement practices. The Equity & Inclusion Manager, Internal partners with internal allies in human resources, the workforce equity committees, and personnel services to develop and support equitable practices and policies within the bureau. This position reports to the Bureau Director and requires an action-oriented leader with a high level of political acumen.
