What’s the opportunity?
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Chef Supervisor to join our London hospitality team. Reporting to the UK Catering Manager you will ensure the smooth running of the Canteen Kitchen and catering meetings and events. This is a great opportunity for someone that is passionate about quality sustainable food, has a customer focus and is experienced in managing a small team of people.
As the Chef Supervisor you will have the ability to prioritise your duties, communicate clearly, be pro-active and comfortable with at times working autonomously.
Hours: 07:30 – 4:00pm (37.5 hours a week 1hr un-paid lunchbreak); Monday – Friday.
The Chef Supervisor will be responsible for:
- The preparation of quality food for the office Canteen, Café, meeting room and hospitality events
- Ensuring all food is produced on time to the required quality and in line with food and health and safety guidelines
- Motivate and supervise a small hospitality team
- Serving food and developing relationships with customers
- Delivery of service for hospitality events (where required)
- Ordering of food products, packaging, consumables, and cleaning chemicals as and when required
- To ensure all incoming product deliveries are stored in the correct areas
- Ensure that the food preparation and service areas are clean and tidy
- Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen areas and floors
- Completing any other reasonable duties as requested by the UK Catering Manager
The right candidate must hold a Level 2 in Food Hygiene, be enthusiastic, willing and have a can-do attitude. You will ensure the quality and stability of products by complying with all company guidelines. You will be enthusiastic, dexterous, advantageous and helpful in this role.

Relevant Health & Safety training will be provided in order to complete the duties of the role
This role may require some light lifting.
The successful candidate for this role will have:
- At minimum a Level 2 certificate in Food Hygiene
- In depth knowledge of Food Safety, Allergens and Safety Regulations
- A passion and enthusiasm for creating and delivering quality food and customer service
- Exceptional time management, organisational and communication skills
- A can-do attitude
- Demonstrative ability to work within a team
- The ability to follow instructions and supervise a small team
