Full-Time Product Specialist I – Digital Video

This position is responsible for break-fix, escalations from other teams, and Remedy tickets. This position has limited configuration access to equipment.

What you will do to contribute to the company’s success
Set forth below is a list of essential duties and responsibilities (or “essential functions”) of this position.
- Receive, research, and resolve escalations of Remedy and /or e-mail-based support requests.
- Participates in the deployment and integration of new equipment and applications to support Cable One Digital Video Services.
- Provides direction and support to field and local office personnel in trouble escalations.
- Works with other departments, teams, and vendors to research and resolve issues in regard to Digital Video product.
- Uses computer-based software tools to monitor digital video equipment to gather information and troubleshoot issues.
- Perform on-call duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Associate’s degree (A. A) from four-year college or university preferred; or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Video support or video headend experience preferred.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Access.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Must be a self-starter with sound problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Must be flexible and a team player.
- Position will require up to 5% travel.
