You will:

  • Facilitate groundbreaking development of small cell and base station antennas
  • Work on a team with Electrical and Mechanical Engineers as well as Antenna Technicians to develop, prototype, and test antenna designs for 5G applications
  • Work with an outstanding antenna engineering team, interacting closely with engineering colleagues around the globe
  • Influence and drive innovative and diverse projects
  • Learn from the industry’s top antenna engineers and outstanding manufacturing processes in the world’s top production facilities

To be successful in the role, you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with 5 years’ experience involving established RF Antenna engineering theory and practices
  • Knowledge of antenna theory, design, analysis, construction, and test. Includes impedance matching, phased array design, radiator design (patch, dipole, etc.) & power dividers
  • Background with RF Simulation software such as HFSS, CST, MATLAB, and/or other RF simulation software
  • Characterization of antenna performance by conducting electrical tests to measure: VSWR, Isolation, near and far-field radiation patterns, and Passive Intermodulation (PIM)
  • Take the lead in antenna development projects and collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure successful on-time completion
  • Ability to identify problems, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Understanding of team strategies and objectives
  • Motivation to learn and constantly improve processes and tools
  • People skills to work with engineers and technicians in design and manufacturing globally
  • Ability to operate basic tools and test equipment such as meters, scopes, and analyzers. Soldering skills desired
  • Good oral and written communication skills
