Full-Time Talent Coordinator

ABOUT THIS ROLE

The Talent Coordinator will be responsible for utilizing and maintaining our systems and structures in order to find and cultivate a diverse group of talented individuals who will take Global Citizen Year to the next evolution of our growth.

YOUR OPPORTUNITY FOR IMPACT

Recruitment: Coordinate recruitment efforts internally and externally.

  • Keep the career page on our website updated.
  • Post open positions externally on job boards and recruiting platforms.
  • Oversee LinkedIn Recruiter research and outreach.
  • Maintain a talent database worksheet and reach out to past candidates or staff who would be a good fit for current openings.
  • Ongoing management of our brand as an employer through our website, LinkedIn page, social media, and external engagements.
  • Represent Global Citizen Year at job fairs and networking events.

Candidate Experience and Selection Process: Facilitate positive experiences for candidates and hiring managers by efficiently moving candidates through the selection process.

  • Set up applications, automatic emails, and workflows in our applicant tracking system.
  • Ensure hiring processes are outlined and all necessary information is given to the hiring manager.
  • Conduct application review and initial phone/video screening interviews.
  • Coordinate and lead all candidate communications, ensuring excellent candidate care through clear communications of deadlines and processes.
  • Schedule interviews between candidates and interviewers and ensure candidates are moving through the process in a timely manner.
  • Prepare interview materials for interviewers.
  • Utilize dashboards and timelines to keep the team updated on where we are in the process.
  • Prepare materials for decision-making meetings

Talent Development: Help the organization manage its professional development opportunities, reviews, and internship program.

  • Build out and maintain a professional development database by organizing the current slate of learning opportunities and researching areas that are needed.
  • Prepare and keep staff updated on 60 Day, Midyear and Annual reviews in our systems and organization calendars.
  • Coordinate our alumni internship program.

The following skills are required:

  • 1-2 years professional experience with a proven track record of success in customer-service oriented roles.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficient with our basic tech tools – MS Office, Google Suite
  • Comfortable using and learning new technology; Enjoys finding new ways to use technology for greater impact.

Bonus points if you have/are:

  • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System
  • Experience working in a global organization

POSITION LOGISTICS

Location: Global Citizen Year is a fully remote organization and accepts applications from anywhere in the world.

Start date: The priority deadline for this application is July 15, 2022; ideal start date is September 12, 2022.

Compensation: The salary range for this role is $52,000-$57,000. We are proud to provide a total compensation package that puts the person first, and can discuss in more detail once a candidate has applied. You can learn more about our benefits here.
