The Role

The Manager, Adult Training Programs oversees multiple simultaneous adult pathway training programs (may include healthcare, technology, and/or utilities sector programs), and ensures that programs and program staff are well supported to meet performance goals and contract objectives. This position will work closely with external training providers and employer partners to develop and implement programs that effectively help clients achieve economic mobility. The Manager, Adult Training Programs will also work closely with internal teams to ensure high quality of data and outcomes reporting.

Scope

  • Manage Adult Pathway Training programs (may include healthcare, technology, and/or utilities) to meet performance goals and contract objectives
  • Partner with employers and training institutions to develop training programs
  • Contribute to program development and strategic planning
  • Supervise Program Coordinators to ensure staff are supported towards meeting organizational and personal professional goals

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience managing multiple staff and programs simultaneously
  • Experience planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating programs
  • Experience tracking and reporting outcomes
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintain confidential information and detailed records
  • Ability to build strong partnerships broadly, with various organizations and with influential stakeholders like community outreach partners and employers
  • Takes initiative, works effectively independently and as part of a team
  • Strong written communication skills; able to write clearly, concisely, consistently using appropriate tone, and providing context
  • Strong customer service and relationship management skills; able to work in a multicultural environment with diverse staff and clientele

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with change management
  • Experience developing programs with multiple community partners
  • 1+ years of experience in supervising staff
  • Experience with CRMs, ideally Salesforce
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com, Acuity (or similar calendaring application), Office 365/Sharepoint, Zoom, Google Drive and Classroom
  • Familiarity with Bay Area employers and community-based organizations landscape
  • Experience collaborating and/or creating partnerships with educational institutions, training partners or other community partners

  • Annual Salary: $80,000 – $85,000
