Full-Time Program Coordinator

You are tech savvy and have excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills, especially under pressure. This position will focus on managing a robust team of volunteers, ensuring the gym is properly staffed at all times, and leading athletic activities such as CrossFit, kickboxing, and other group fitness classes. The ideal candidate will have experience with multiple technology platforms, including Salesforce. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Manage busy volunteer schedules to ensure the Boston gym runs smoothly
  • Recruit volunteers and maintain positive relationships with current volunteer team
  • Facilitate fitness events regularly, especially nights and weekends
  • Utilize various technology platforms, including Salesforce
  • Maintain a safe and supportive gym environment and ensure that the team member agreement is always upheld
  • Complete other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • 2+ years of relevant work or volunteer experience (scheduling, volunteer engagement, project coordination, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience coaching, instructing, or leading one or more gym-based fitness activities
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Proficiency with technology

 

PREFERENCES

  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience with crisis management
  • Certifications in relevant gym-based disciplines (CF-L1, L2, or L3; NASM, NSCA, ACSM, or ACE Personal Trainer)
