This position will focus on managing partnerships, supporting a robust volunteer program, and planning and coordinating social and fitness events across Tampa Bay Area. The ideal candidate will have established connections with local nonprofit and recovery organizations in the area. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help grow our robust sober active community in the Tampa Bay Area
- Maintain existing relationships and build new connections in the local recovery community as well as partnerships with relevant organizations and affinity groups
- Support a strong volunteer program with recruitment, engagement, and support
- Help plan, coordinate, and facilitate weekly events in a safe, supportive and nurturing environment
- Utilize various technology and social media platforms
- Commute regularly for community outreach around the Tampa Bay Area
- Frequently work evening and weekend hours as needed
- Complete other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of relevant work or volunteer experience (community outreach, volunteer engagement, project coordination, etc.)
- Strong community relations skills
- Organizational and time management skills, as well as adaptability and flexibility
- Volunteer engagement experience with strong ability to connect with people from a wide variety of backgrounds
- Entrepreneurial spirit, humility, and integrity
- Proficiency with technology and social media platforms
- Strong administrative and coordination skills
PREFERENCES

- Sales, marketing, or social media experience
- Fluency in two or more languages
