Role description and opportunities:

Provides support and coordination for highly visible activities related to tracking regulatory findings and remediation activities. Collaborates with partners across the company to gather and enter regulatory finding and remediation data into the ORR repository.

Independently completes a wide range of administrative activities in support of the Office of Regulatory Relations. Helps to maintain, organize, and report on data. Stays abreast of organization and function operations and gains familiarity with company practices. Reports and escalates progress/issues to management. Proactively identifies obstacles, opportunities and recommends solutions. Cultivates collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

This role includes but is not limited to:

Supports day-to day data management activities related to regulatory requests, findings, and reporting, and data entry.
Understands and supports effective use of ORR repository/system. This includes but is not limited to the creation of official regulatory exam and findings records, ensuring the quality and accuracy of the data within the repository/system, and status changes are correctly and sufficiently documented.
Assists in monitoring group mailboxes for the purpose of identifying regulatory updates.
Handles tasks that are frequently advanced and complex in nature.
Performs advanced, diversified and sometimes confidential administrative duties requiring broad and comprehensive experience, skill and knowledge of organizational policies and procedures.
Exercises autonomy in troubleshooting a diverse range of sometimes complex issues as they arise.
Conducts research, compiles, analyses, and summarizes information for reports and correspondence. Leverages own contacts and resources and liaises with other managers on behalf of the assigned manager(s) and/or team to facilitate information gathering and confirmation of answers.
Effectively collaborates and communicates, including information exchange with internal and external contacts, is required.
Tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality are essential skills based on the level of internal and external contacts.
Responsible for the timeliness, quality, and accurate completion of own work.

A successful candidate should ideally have these qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience required
5-7 years of total work experience in financial services or business partner function preferred
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills
Proficiency in Outlook and shared/group calendars, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Ability to effectively prioritize competing requests and switch focus as needed
