Full-Time Front End Engineer
Job Description
Pipedream was founded in 2018 as a production-scale serverless platform for quickly connecting the world’s apps and data. We currently serve over 100,000 developers across the world and connect hundreds of APIs. We are looking for user interface engineers who love to work on hard problems with small teams to design, build, and optimize user experiences.
The role
- These are examples of the the kinds of projects you may be working on:
- Design a collaborative workflow development experience for teams and enterprises providing an integrated version control experience within Pipedream for common source code management tools like Github and Gitlab
- Build tools for Pipedream users allowing them to easily build and contribute code to the Pipedream community
- Optimize the intuitiveness of the Pipedream visual workflow editor to make it the best workflow design experience around.
While your primary focus will be on the UI and UX of the app(s), you should expect to become familiar with all the technologies we use: VueJs, Typescript, Tailwind, GraphQL, Rails, Node, Python, Go, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Java, Lua, Redis, Postgres, etc… The ability to rapidly learn new languages and technologies is more important than mastery of any of the above.
Your growth at Pipedream
- 1st week: You’ve familiarized yourself with the development environment and committed your first production code
- 1st month: You are the expert engineer behind a new feature and have delivered the first iteration of that feature to users
- 3rd month: You have expert knowledge of all Pipedream frontend technologies and are comfortable contributing across the entire user interface.
You are
- You are a UI expert who has written a significant amount of code using a modern UI framework such as Vue, React, Angular, or Ember
- You have iteratively developed a UI based on feedback from multiple people in a small team within a production setting
- You are comfortable writing functional CSS
