We are currently hiring for the position of:
Assistant, Industry Services
Reporting to the Senior Coordinator, Industry Services, the Assistants will be responsible for the administrative implementation of the Industry teams accreditation and delegate services initiative prior to and during the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process and troubleshoot industry registration requests in an efficient and accurate manner
- Provide forward facing customer service over email and phone to industry professionals in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Process and troubleshoot payments including credit card transactions, invoices, refunds, and group payments through TIFF’s e-commerce tool
- Support outreach to industry partners, guilds, colleges, universities
- Provide assistance for the timely and accurate production of industry passes
- Provide onsite assistance to industry professionals during TIFF
- Support administrative tasks related to complimentary passes for contractually obligated stakeholders both internal and external.
- Support transfer of data and organization to internal production teams teams managing online platforms
- Administratively support various initiatives across the services vertical including but not limited to, copy generation, financial reporting and reconciliation, hospitality and travel support and communications.
- Provide general assistance to the Senior Coordinators, Industry Services, as needed
- Write a detailed post mortem
JOB GRADE & RATE OF PAY
- Job Grade 1
- $18.98/Hourly
CONTRACT DATES:
- June 13, 2022 – Sep 16, 2022
- Jun 27, 2022- Sep 1, 2022
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficient in Google suite and Excel
- Strong professional communication and client relationship skills
- Ability to troubleshoot difficult situations with tact and diplomacy
- Quick learner of new technology and complex workflows
- Proven strong administrative and organizational skills
- Fluency in foreign languages considered an strong asset
- Previous film industry, festival, or hospitality experience considered an asset
- Ability to work well under pressure and adjust to changing client needs
- Adaptable to a flexible work schedule including some evenings and weekends
- Available for work every day of the Festival (September 8 to 18 inclusive)
- This position requires being in office on a regular basis, aligning with our Flexible Work from Home Policy.
