About You
The Talent Strategy and Program Manager’s primary goal is to drive applicant flow. This role creates and implements the Talent Acquisition strategy to cast a wide net in attracting talent that represents our commitment to inclusion and diversity. The position is responsible for assessing the recruiting needs of the business, and creating and implementing strategy, training and tools that successfully fill positions with the best talent. This role works collaboratively with our Field Recruiting team as well as Field Operations and Corporate Leadership to ensure all recruiting needs are being met. The Talent Strategy and Program Manager also leads the Corporate Recruiting function. The ideal candidate will be strategic, yet able to be hands on while bringing creative juices with an eye for brand alignment messaging.

Your Day in the Life

  • Drives team member applicant flow to restaurants through optimizing vendor partnerships, job posting strategy, identifying underutilized target demographics, and innovative new tactics
  • Creates strategy for focused outreach to underrepresented talent pool, with laser focus on expanding the diversity of our candidate pool
  • Leads Corporate Recruiter and supports the CSO / Field Support recruiting needs
  • Owns the Applicant Tracking System and ensures the right system is in place and optimized
  • Builds tools and resources to ensure hiring managers have the information they need to make successful hires
  • Partners with Marketing team to create recruiting collateral, including social outreach, that aligns with business needs and allows for in-restaurant now hiring materials that are on-brand
  • Ensures employment brand is aligned with company mission, values and culture; makes updates as necessary
  • Prepares and analyzes recruiting reports to monitor recruiting metrics and maintains quarterly Talent Acquisition Dashboard to show trends over time
  • Creates annual recruiting budget, tracks spending and evaluates overall effectiveness
  • Manages relationships and contract negotiations with outside recruiting partners and vendors
  • Achieves and delivers on financial, operational and recruiting goals
  • Manages all Talent Acquisition projects related to company initiatives, Talent Acquisition Systems and processes

What You Bring to the Team

  • Experience building and managing relationships at all levels
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to think strategically and manage change
  • Must be able to work with highly sensitive and confidential information
  • Ability to create reports and analytics using Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrates an understanding and knowledge of industry information and competitive landscape in the job market
  • Demonstrated expertise in selection and assessment methods
  • In-depth knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems
  • High personal standers; the ability to represent Noodles & Company appropriately in the field
  • Ability to communicate professionally, influence, and build solid internal and external relationships
  • Aptitude to work independently and be self-motivated, while collaborating in a team environment
  • Team player who is highly guest service oriented, engaging, respectful, flexible, adaptable, and calm under pressure
  • Passion for the Noodles & Company brand and its initiatives is a must
  • Ability to travel when needed
  • 5+ years’ experience leading a talent acquisition function with increasing responsibilities
  • Experience with development of recruiting strategy and systems; previous experience managing a new ATS implementation is a plus
  • Experience with creative development of employment marketing collateral
  • Experience in the Restaurant/Retail industry preferred
