In this role you will serve as one of the faces of the National Wildlife Federation’s brand and mission when engaging with partners and prospects.  You will report to the Head of Licensing & Partnerships and will be tasked with advancing the division’s partnership strategy and revenue goals.  This role is both operational and strategic, and includes elements of managing and optimizing revenues with existing partners as well as cultivating new partnerships.

Responsibilities:

Management of existing licensing and marketing partners, nurturing and stewarding these relationships and ensuring that all accounts are working at optimum levels.
Offer superior client services and support, providing a steady flow of communication, ideas and opportunities.
Identification and cultivation of prospective new business opportunities within our current portfolio of partners as well as with new partners in order to maximize business and revenue potential.
Operational duties include financial forecasting, development of marketing materials and sales presentations, and contract management.
Build a knowledge base of our clients’ business, organization and objectives.
Liaise and collaborate with other National Wildlife Federation divisions to ensure alignment with programming, marketing, finance, legal, magazines, and creative areas.
Monitor competitive brands and properties, and keep up to date on industry trends, retail environment, innovative practices and new marketing opportunities.
Assist with coordination of National Wildlife Federation presence at annual Licensing Show and attend other industry trade shows and meetings as needed.
Qualifications:

3 – 5+ years of licensing, corporate partnerships or business development experience in the non-profit, media, entertainment, consumer products industries, or related field.
Passion for National Wildlife Federation’s values and mission.
Strong customer service orientation and account management skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Commercial mind-set and a savvy negotiator.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to execute and follow-through; ability to work well under deadlines, oversee multiple projects and prioritize work effectively.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with internal teams and external clients.
Demonstrated initiative, self-starter and target driven.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
B.A. or B.S in relevant field. MBA preferred, but not required.
Some travel required.
