Position Summary
The focus of this position is to assist with the accounts receivable tasks including the daily cash receipts, daily credit card activity, process credits, monitor customer balances and accounts collections.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Process cash receipts on a daily basis.
- Process credit card receipts and maintain reconciliation.
- Research and resolve balances left after payments by customers.
- Request documentation for unidentified deductions.
- Make collection and follow-up phone calls/send emails on delinquent balances.
- Collaborate with Staff Accountant on open deposits.
- Monitor orders in suspense for release or hold.
- Identify customers requiring credit review.
- Generate credit memos, including PODs – assist with researching duplications and verifying valid credits.
- Complete all necessary month-end reporting.
- Complete additional accounting tasks as assigned.

- High School or equivalent (Preferred) experience
- 1-3 years of Accounting experience
- Strong skills using and understanding the flow of transactions in an integrated system
- Excellent problem solving/judgment skills and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Office
- Excellent time management skills
- Professional, flexible and positive team player
- Ability to learn new technologies
- Proficient typing skills
