Full-Time Stock Clerk
Job Description
Position Purpose
- Prepare requisitions and obtain requests for quotes and material specifications using company software systems in support of operations.
- Provide hands on support and professional feedback to the Supervisor, Procurement & Supply Chain and assist in maintaining proper inventory levels within designated fiscal parameters to support operational requirements.
- Create requisitions and RFQs for goods and services to include M&S, exempt, small tools, PPE and other as directed by Supervisor, Procurement & Supply Chain
- Daily keying into accounting and inventory systems as required
- Duties as assigned by Supervisor, including general housekeeping of stockroom and stockyard
- Ship, receive, stock and issue material as needed
Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Possession and retention of a valid driver’s license issued from the state that the employee resides in.
- Must possess intermediate level PC skills and be detail oriented.
- Must satisfactorily maintain a current certificate in “Safe Operation of Powered Industrial Trucks”.
- Must be available for duties during times of system emergencies.
