This is an exciting opportunity for a Content Marketing Associate.
We are looking for a talented communicator to join our team to help tell the stories of our innovations, why these new technologies matter and the impact they are making on our communities. This is a great opportunity to sharpen your content and digital marketing skills; and we are flexible for you to work anywhere within the U.S.
This role will be instrumental in coordinating and contributing to the business’ content marketing strategy and editorial board. The role will narrate stories by producing content in a wide variety of forms, including blog posts, videos, photo stories, listicles, case studies and long-form articles. The role will coordinate with key business and functional stakeholders from ideation to publication, as well as help to amplify the business’ content on digital and social platforms.

Responsibilities:
• Supports marketing teams’ on-going rhythm of business by planning, executing, supporting and improving selected activities under limited supervision.
• Plans and contributes in the execution of periodic and repetitive activities such as marketing events and communications (i.e. publications, newsletters, etc.)
• Gathers, compiles and draws conclusions from information captured through primary and secondary research
• Outlines presentations and other communications, compiles required content in collaboration with others
• Could take the lead on portions of projects where it is well defined
In addition, we are looking for someone with:
• Strong Writer: Clearly express ideas, organize thoughts and convey emotions in written form that connect with diverse audiences. Looking for someone who is strong in both technical writing and conversational style.
• Storytelling Skills: Assist in the ideation and development process of creating engaging content to tell Cummins’ story to diverse audiences. Creative thinking and digital marketing familiarity are a plus.
• Strong Organizational Skills: Project management and strong organizational and administrative skills needed to assist the business in coordinating in-person and virtual events, as well as other projects.

Education, Licenses, Certifications
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. Marketing or Journalism degree preferred but not required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience
Requires relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
