Full-Time Senior Vice President, Default Management Director (Req# 765)
Job Description
The Default Management group is seeking a Senior Vice President of Default Management. In this role the Director of Default Management will be responsible for the leadership, department P&L and overall management of consumer and small business collection function within a call center environment. This candidate should possess a high level of knowledge within collection industry, consumer credit products, CFPB compliance requirements, and small business credit products.
Major responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Will establish standards of performance to ensure superior asset quality result supervising the management team of this unit.
- Demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of Call Center acumen with a focus on digital collections methods.
- Ensures compliance with all applicable collection laws and regulations in various states the bank conducts business.
- Prepares and manages an annual budget and business plan, makes decisions relative to staffing, evaluates performance and makes compensation recommendations.
- Formulates and directs the implementation of both the strategy and policy for the function.
- Develop and support assigned goals and business plan initiatives, providing staff member with regular progress updates and coaching sessions.
- Collaborates with Senior Leaders across the organization on projects and initiatives.
- Energizes others to work toward accomplishing organizational objectives.
- Support the growth and develop of department and various levels of Team Leadership.
- Prepares reports as needed for Senior Management or by request.
Education and Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree preferred
- Strong default management experience required
- 15 years of experience required in Collections, Default Management, or related field
Skills and Knowledge
- Have excellent communication, teamwork, change management, and staff development skills
- Experience in bankruptcies, foreclosure and loss mitigation matters is required
- Proven management skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills required
- High level of knowledge/experience in Call Center technologies
- Microsoft Office Suite and Technologies
- Bi-lingual skills desired, but not required
