We are looking for a talented Engineering IT Business Analyst Senior to join our team specializing in Systems/Information Technology for our Engine Business Unit in Columbus, IN / your remote home office within the United States.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Will be responsible for supporting the EBU Engineering organization through the execution of the EBU IT strategy. Candidate needs to be flexible to changing responsibilities required to support EBU Engineering goals and strategies. Business functions covered will include: Customer Service and Product Improvement Engineering, Operational Engineering, Powertrain Integration, On and Off Highway Engineering and Technical Operations.
• Work will include leading technical transformation projects, leading cloud-based development work, assisting with application roadmap development and implementation, and partnering with Corporate IT teams to deliver common solutions to the business.
• This position may eventually require managing direct reports and supplier resources.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• Bachelor’s degree (or above) in Computer Science or related field
• A minimum of 5 years professional experience in project management or technical business analysis; Agile experience preferred
• Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices and project planning/execution skills including estimating and scheduling
• Will be responsible for managing project specific financials (AOP, Forecast, Actuals)
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
• Experience with applications developed and deployed on the AWS architecture preferred
• Experience in communicating with users, technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs
• Ability to communicate effectively across a wide range of users and management
• Experience leading teams
• Experience with either an Engineering or Product Compliance function preferred, but not required

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
