Full-Time Recruiting Lead

How this role supports our mission
Without strong talent onboard Poggio Labs won’t be able to get a damn thing done. The talent acquisition lead will own the talent pipeline and employer branding from soup to nuts as they help build a recruiting function. Employee referrals and our founders force of will have helped us build the team up until now, but we know that won’t cut it or enable us to build a lasting recruiting practice. This is an opportunity to get the recruiting engine cranking!
What an average day may entail
- Outreach to 50+ candidates via Gem
- Conduct initial screening call with 4-5 candidates
- Facilitate post-onsite candidate debrief with hiring team
- Meet with hiring team to kick off new role and post on Greenhouse
- Review pipeline metrics with head of people to assess effectiveness of current process
- Strategize with co-founders on how to increase representation across teams
Useful experiences to have coming into the role
- Comfort working in competitive talent markets such as SF/NY
- Hands on recruiting experience or proximity to the function
- Experience in a high growth startup or organization that’s doubled (or more!) within a 12 month time frame
- Comfort using Greenhouse, Gem, LinkedIn Talent Solutions, Rippling
- Sourcing engineering talent or previous experience working with engineering teams
- Ability to create hiring processes that scale and grow with a team
- Strong reading comprehension, attention to detail and writing abilities
