The primary purpose of this role is to assist in the development and delivery of training initiatives for the Analyst Operations Team, including training to Analyst Operations employees, with various learning paths, via various learning tools. The Training and Development Specialist will support the end to end training process which will include creating, developing, implementing, conducting, and evaluating training content and learning paths for the various Analyst Operations roles. This role may be involved in and/or assist in training other departments in Analyst Operations related processes and expertise. This position requires completion of analyst training within the first four weeks.
We are currently looking for candidates who are local to the Portland Metro Area or in the Pacific Time Zone. Candidates will have the option to be fully remote or partially in the office based in Northwest Portland. Candidates cannot reside in the following states: CA, NY, FL, CO, and HI.

- Drive, plan, deliver and contribute to the design of Analyst Operations Core Training
- Evaluate learners’ performance, identify improvement opportunities, and communicate training progress to all involved per the standard operating procedures.
- Coach and mentor learners based on individual developmental needs to improve identified knowledge gaps or skills
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback
- Support the improvement of training-related skills for Training Coordinators and Training Buddies (trainer the trainer)
- Organize, plan, and prioritize work in a way that is aligned with overall business goals and needs while meeting multiple deadlines
- Demonstrate adaptability and agility in training approach in response to differences in learner’s style, ability, and the learned content area
- Upon completion of training, demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of risk and compliance analysis and the ability to apply the core concepts to new topic areas.
What You’ll Bring:
- 1+ year(s) of experience providing or facilitating training to adult learners
- Strong presentation skills or public speaking experience to communicate complex information and ideas clearly
- Ability to manage multiple objectives simultaneously, prioritize appropriately, and communicate status
- Excellent problem solving skills as well as the ability to use good judgment
- Demonstrates an inspirational attitude that contributes to a positive team environment.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with team members along with willingness to set and maintain high standards of performance.
- Well developed ability to speak, read, comprehend, and write English
- Demonstrates resourcefulness and curiosity when faced with new challenges and unfamiliar situations
- High attention to detail to consistently produce high quality work
- Proficiency in G-Suite applications
Highly Desired:
- Experience in training in a legal environment – regulations or laws
- Training in Healthcare or payments industry
