We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team! In this role, you would focus on building the internal and external facing tools and services that support the company’s core mission. This includes automated data analysis tools that enable our researchers to quickly and effectively identify fraudulent activity. You would also build public facing web applications and APIs that allow our customers to manage their portfolios of eCommerce merchants and take action on ones you find to be fraudulent or high risk.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and build scalable solutions that support secure and efficient exchange of large volumes of customer data
- Collaborate with your team to pragmatically evolve existing systems and construct new features and services when necessary
- Find innovative ways to frequently deliver incremental business value to the company
- Have a lot of fun while making a difference in the world by enabling a safer internet for everyone
What You’ll Bring:
- Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, a related science discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- Be competent with Javascript, Angular, or Typescript
- Have some familiarity with at least one Object Oriented language such as Ruby, Python, Java, or C#
- Speak to and demonstrate the value of automated unit and integration testing
- Be familiar with Agile practices or willing to learn
- Show interest in designing and developing effective RESTful APIs for internal and external use
- Excited about the opportunity to refactor production code
