Full-Time Product Manager, Payments

We are looking for a Product Manager who champions the needs of the business and customers effectively. The candidate would be the “Voice of the Customer” for internal teams while being data driven, and embody LegitScript’s core values of being Awesome, Open, Invested, and Thoughtful in their day-to-day interactions with all employees.

What You’ll Do:

  • Understand the segment ecosystem, markets, competition, and user needs in depth.
  • Master the competitive landscape and maintain constant knowledge of competitor business.
  • Own market analysis and positioning, contribute to pricing, and drive the end-to-end product life cycle.
  • Engage with customers to identify market opportunities and define actionable roadmap initiatives.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the user base and use personas to articulate pain points and opportunities.
  • Drive product improvements by using all types of learning: user testing, data analysis, A/B testing and identify metrics to measure feature performance, reflect insights, and set context for new product ideas.
  • Build business cases (profit/loss scenario, risks, etc.) to support future opportunities.
  • Execute on long-term product strategy with incremental releases adding customer value at each stage to drive segment revenue growth, profit margins, and market expansion.
  • Ensure the product/service supports business strategy, mission, and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Collaborate deeply with architects, UX experts, software development teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop product plans based on value hypotheses, learning goals, and metrics.
  • Make trade-off decisions on roadmap and engineering priorities keeping corporate and product strategy, business opportunity, and internal needs in mind.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Product Manager or similar role
  • Working knowledge of product management practices
  • Experience gathering and documenting requirements, while working cross functionally with multiple stakeholders
  • Good understanding of the Agile software development methodology
  • Strong written and oral communication
