The role: The Data Analyst III will develop and enhance the Company’s use of data analytics. The Data Analyst III will work closely with functional leaders to obtain knowledge of business operations and build reports, dashboards, metrics, and other data-driven tools to produce information to develop, enhance or improve the Company’s data to meet the business and client and needs.
What you will do:
- Create specifications to bring data into a common structure, mapping data structures to meet established requirements, developing data solutions to support analyses, performing analysis, interpreting results, developing actionable insights and presenting recommendations to support service delivery.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop tools and models such as segmentation, data visualizations, decision aids and business case analysis to support the organization.
- Provide deep analysis on internal data sets and recommend/build aggregates, dashboards and scorecards to be used for reporting at detail and management level.
- Producing and managing the delivery of data and analytics to internal and external stakeholders and clients.
- Use business intelligence, data visualization, query, analytic and statistical software to build solutions, perform analysis and interpret data.
- Design and deploy custom solutions to support enrollment and other business users for data collection, auditing, dashboards, and metrics/KPIs.
- Participate in strategic & tactical planning discussions.
Education and experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics or related field or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years’ experience as a data analyst focused on statistical analysis.
- 2+ experience in designing and authoring reports/dashboards using Tableau, Quicksight, Power BI, Looker or equivalent language required.
- 2+ years’ experience working in to query and interpret data from a database or data warehouse required.
- 2+ years’ experience in translation of business requirements into detailed system specifications.
- 2+ years’ experience in data mapping between data sources.
- 2+ years’ experience in relational database experience.
- Experience with SQL friendly data structures.
Additional eligibility qualifications:
- Excellent verbal, written and group communication and presentation skills; ability to utilize communication skills to effectively influence across functions and business units as well as across different leadership levels.
- Excellent organizational & analytical skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Results-driven and execution-oriented personality, ready to take ownership and get results.
- Strong empathy for customers and a passion for revenue and growth.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint.
- Other qualification as required.
Core Business Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. M-F; these hours may vary depending upon your position and work requirements.
Status: Full-Time, Exempt
