Full-Time Account Associate, Uniforms

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Account Associate, Uniforms to join our Toronto office team.

The successful incumbent will be resilient, flexible, self-motivated and have a great work ethic; detail oriented, driven and have strong time management skills to provide exceptional administrative and support in a fast-paced environment. Day-to-day responsibilities will include liaising with suppliers and Account Manager.

 

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Ensure orders are entered, reviewed, approved, released and purchase orders sent to applicable suppliers
  • Coordinate uniform samples between clients, vendors and Genumark
  • Sourcing and quoting of products and garments for accounts of varying volumes, and working with customers directly when necessary
  • Collaborate in new product development and putting together client presentations
  • Develop and format Request for Proposals (RFPs), working directly with Creative Director for client presentations
  • Organize new program launches and liaise with appropriate parties to set-up new program
  • Provide and offer support when needed and necessary in department
  • Follow up as required (by multiple means of necessary communication – phone or email) with vendors, sales managers, logistics, or other parties as required
  • Utilize our custom application suite to monitor and follow up with orders
  • Attend monthly departmental meetings including participation in internal/external audits as required
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Assist in the Health & Safety program by ensuring that section 28 of the Occupational Health & Safety Act (OHSA) are being followed; conduct employee training and accident investigations; coordinate Health & Safety training within the department
  • May be required to perform additional and/or different responsibilities as set forth above

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have completed minimum Grade 12 education; post-secondary education preferred
  • Minimum two years general operational or administrative office work experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially, Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including use of the Internet and experience with sales software/platform
  • Proven ability to understand, speak and write English in order to communicate effectively using tact and diplomacy is required
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skill along with a demonstrated commitment to service excellence, quality and vendor relationship management
  • Think “outside” the box”, be pro-active, problem solve and suggest corrective course of action
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong multi-tasking and attention to detail; able to manage multiple assignment simultaneously with conflicting deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage time and retain and apply information effectively
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization
  • Must have employment eligibility in Canada

 

Compensation: $38,000 – $40,000 annually
