Full-Time Warranty Reduction Engineer
Job Description
We are looking for a talented Warranty Reduction Engineer to join our team specializing in Engineering for our Cummins Emission Solutions in Columbus, IN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
– Support warranty reduction efforts for Cummins Emissions Solutions.
– Understands engineering theories, chemistry, physics, and looks for opportunities to apply them, and help explain different phenomena, and to solve problems.
– Apply engineering theories, chemistry, physics, and looks for opportunities to use them; looks for opportunities to use those tools.
– Lead the development and improvement of work processes and systems across a functional discipline area within a business unit site.
– Provide support and guidance to influence technical direction within a project team and continues to develop proficiency in the competency areas critical to success in the role.
– Analyze data and presents results to larger groups.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
– Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering preferred, Mechanical Engineering degrees would be considered.
– 1+ years of professional experience is required.
– Experience with data collection and analysis; using data to make decisions and drive improvements.
– Effective communicator that is comfortable presenting to groups; speaks well and is articulate.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
