We are looking for a talented Service Manager to join our team specializing in Sales and Service for our Distribution Segment in Nashville, TX, US Cummins
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
– Manages in shop service operations, department personnel, and the departmental budget.
– Manages all operations including service staff and supervisors; resolves most complex business problems for those on the team.
– Provides employees with timely and constructive performance feedback; develops employees and provides opportunities that enhance employee career growth.
– Leads continuous improvement activities by reviewing, changing, and improving processes in line with changing customer expectations/organizational goals.
– Regularly reviews key performance indicators for service operations and addresses issues. Identifies trends and initiates improvements necessary to achieve goals while ensuring customer needs are met without interruption to service levels.
– Ensures the volume of work produced meets company standards and ensures customer satisfaction. Measures, reviews, and maintains superior customer satisfaction levels.
– Establishes positive and professional working relationships with key customers. To be successful in this role you will need the following:
– College, university, or equivalent degree required.
– Significant level of relevant experience, including supervisory experience, required.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
– Excellent customer service skills and the ability to effectively communicate in a positive and professional manner.
– 2 + supply chain experience
– 2 + years’ experience within a supervisor, lead, or manager role.
– Background within supply chains relating to; industrial, construction or other relevant area
– Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
– Actively participate on Safety Related Activities like Safety Committee Meetings, Facility Inspections, etc.
– Ability to manage branch purchasing by finding a vendor, ordering, receiving as well as distributing products to the Departments in need.
Education, Licenses, Certifications
– Bachelor’s degree in related field advantageous
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
