Job Description
DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a talented Accounting Manager for our distribution center to join our team in Memphis, TN!
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Manage and lead a team of 6+ people, made up of Accountants, AP Manager and AP Analysts.
• Responsible for all accounting activities and reviewing reconciliation for all North American Aftermarket Distribution Centers (NA DCs) – 2 Master and 5 Regional Distribution Centers.
• Closely support all audits – External, Internal and SoX for the sites audited.
• Manages Accounts Payable (AP) activities for all North America distribution centers.
• Ensures compliance with internal controls including monitoring every site’s cycle count accuracy to obtain API Exemption.
• Ensures costs are correctly recorded and updated in ERP system.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years experience in a leadership role.
• Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Accountant or similar certification preferred.
• Understanding of warehousing operations is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
