Job Description

We are looking for a talented Digital Industrial Engineer to join our team specializing in Manufacturing IT Systems and Industrial Controls for our Corporate Business Segment in Columbus, IN or your remote home office within the US.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Become an expert in digital analysis led design (ALD) tools such as but not limited to 3Dx Platform, Witness, etc.
• Collaborate with sites and lead the development and implementation of simulation models using the Digital ALD Toolset Act as the key functional expert to Digital ALD system users across the business and empower them to effectively utilize the Digital ALD toolset to deliver value.
• Support development of standard processes that fall under the scope of Digital ALD. Lead development and delivery of standard tools & resources for the organization: training material; white paper; implementation playbook, simulation models, etc.
• Manage Digital ALD communication with system users.
• Effectively manage multiple complex cross functional Digital ALD implementation projects at sites across the globe.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships with key partner functions such as Supply Chain IT, Global Manufacturing Engineering and HSE.
• Support IT function to configure Digital ALD systems; recommend functionality improvements; prioritize development; organize and lead system testing.
• Support the development of 3-5-year roadmap for Digital ALD at Cummins.
• Support implementation of Digital ALD program at sites across the globe.
• Support benchmarking of emerging Digital ALD tools and building value assessments.
• Lead communication with Site and Business Leaders on the program.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• College, university, or equivalent degree required.
• At least 3 years of digital industrial engineering experience.
• This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
• Prior experience executing Industrial Engineering fundamentals in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
• Prior experience executing Industrial Engineering fundaments utilizing digital simulation tools is ideal.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
