We are seeking a talented Combustion and Emissions Systems Technical Specialist to join our team. This role is based in Seymour Indiana and offers a hybrid schedule. The candidate would be required to work onsite two days a week and work remotely three days a week.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Develop new tools and processes for CPE
• Define engine performance requirements to meet program requirements and determine how to verify requirements.
• Lead performance related FIRGs (Failure Incidence Review Reporting Group ) and support other teams in FIRG resolution.
• Support engine test cell testing in-person and perform engine system troubleshooting
• Analyze technical data to create summary presentations and Cummins Technical Reports.
• Support field tests and field issues as needed.
• Guide less experienced engineers though engine performance development and technical challenges
REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• College, university, or equivalent Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines is required.
• Prior Senior or Lead Engineer equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area is required with a demonstrated track record of technical problem solving and quality decision making and knowledge of MS Office tools
• A minimum of 5 years of applicable and relevant experience

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
