About Your Role:
This dynamic position supports the Realty Mogul LP Division in the coordination of Due Diligence and Transaction Closing between all parties.
Must be authorized to work in the US.
While we are located in Los Angeles, this role is remote.
What You’ll Do:
- Responsible for collecting, reviewing and/or negotiating Commercial Real Estate (CRE) transaction documents, while protecting RealtyMogul and RealtyMogul’s investor interest.
- Review and collect documents such as the partnership agreements, title commitments, insurance, lease agreements, loan agreements and other documentation pertaining to the transaction.
- In addition to acquisitions, construction, and development, which are standard transactions; transactions may also include closed end funds, unsecured and secured borrowing bases, subscription lines, and various other complex transactions and or offerings.
- Partners with the Head of Underwriting and Internal Legal Counsel as primary liaisons with customers, attorneys, construction consultants and title company representatives, during all phases of financing and closing.
Who You Are:
- Seven or more years of experience in CRE acquisitions or CRE lending
- Considerable knowledge of commercial real estate including tax credit transactions, borrowing base lending, multi-phased construction, and transactions secured by multiple collateral properties
- Strong technical expertise in CRE transaction management functions
- Demonstrated ability to close commercial real estate transactions
- Advanced knowledge of commercial real estate finance, law, documentation, accounting, and data systems
- Knowledge of Rule 506(b) and 506(c) offerings
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and strong communication skills
- You are proactive, comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment with a strong interest in the real estate private equity industry
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
