DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a talented Product Application Engineer to join our team specializing in Engineering for our Power Systems Business Unit in Seymour, IN/ home office. (Hybrid)

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Represents our customers during new product development programs
• Accountable for the Customer Engineering deliverables in new product development programs
• Accountable for the availability, accuracy, and quality of all customer-facing product technical information
• Responsible for Industrial, Marine, and G-Drive Diesel engine product technical information
• Supports product selection, design, and product integration that impacts OEM machine performance, optimization, and quality
• Ensures that customer’s or Cummins’ business is not interrupted by effectively managing and communicating product changes.
• Solves product problems with robust and data-based solutions to protect the customer .
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure quality of tools and processes used to support team deliverables.
• Develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of internal and external stakeholders.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• College, university, or equivalent Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines is required
• 5+ years of prior experience in the Customer Engineering function
• Knowledge in Industrial, Marine and/or G-Drive Diesel product experience preferred
• Experience in product development
• Excellent communication skills

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
