We are looking for a talented Lead Software Engineer to join our team specializing in Systems/Information Technology for Corporate team in Columbus, Indiana.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Developing information systems by studying operations; design, develop and install software solutions; support and develop a software team of developers responsible for building new and supporting existing applications.
• Work across multiple facets of a project with multiple responsibilities at the same time with the strong analytical capability and the ability to create innovative solutions.
• Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle; document and demonstrate solutions; Developing flow charts, layouts and documentation.
• Determining feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development and proposed solutions; Understand business needs and know how to create the tools to manage them.
• Establishing the vision and identity of the team and involved in the day-to-day activities of the team. This can include writing code, running ceremonies, giving a presentation, doing research, testing the solution, etc.
• Helping the team members grow in their careers and create an environment to help the team succeed. Review their work performance and help them improve their approach, communication, and delivery. Help each team member exceed their individual goals and potential. Inspire them to aim beyond and setting the bar higher than they would set it themselves.
• Work closely with the RTE, Product Owners and Product Manager to determine the capacity allocation for enablement work; Participate in Program Increment (PI) Planning and Pre- and Post-PI Planning, System and Solution Demos, and Inspect and Adapt events

REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be succesful in this role you will require the following skills:
Significant experience working as a senior software engineer with significant experience of leading projects and knowledge in the following areas is highly preferred:
• Minimum 2 + years’ experience within a senior, lead or team leader position within a development team.
• General Salesforce tech knowledge including apex visual force, process builder and workflows, Object Query Language, Lightning Framework
• Technical knowledge of object orientated programming
• Background consisting of 5 + years’ experience working within Agile development environments
• Fundamental IT technical skill sets
• Taking a system from the coping requirements through to actual launch.
• Ability to effectively communicate with users, other technical teams and management to collect requirements, identify tasks, provide estimates and meet production deadlines.
• Thorough knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations.

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
