This is an exciting opportunity in Galesburg, MI for a Product Systems Validation Technician.
This product focused position verifies and validates the functionality of Eaton Cummins’ products across a wide range of customer requirements, across a variety of applications, in various environments. This work plans, tracks, and evaluates results from a wide range of analyses and functional tests to assess product risk and performance. These results are expected to drive quality decisions and proactively resolve product issues before the product reaches the customer.
Your impact will happen in these and other ways:
* Bring new and existing product software to market faster by introducing automation
* Programming in multiple platforms such as Matlab, IBM, Python, Jenkins, Vector, and other industry leading tools
* Certify ISO 26262 tool chain for compliance
* Development of Verification/Qualification deliverables including, but not limited to Requirements Documents, Functional and Design Specifications, test protocols, and summary reports
* Execution of Test Protocols, including identification and resolution of defects
* Tracking and managing change control activities for multiple concurrent projects
* Technical understanding at system, subsystem, and component levels
* System Automation design, specification, documentation, programming, testing, and commissioning
Experience:
* Minimum of 5-7+ years of relevant Senior or Lead work experience in a relevant discipline area is required with a demonstrated track record of technical problem solving and quality decision making.
* Experience with MATLAB or Python
* Previous automation experience (Hardware-in-the-Loop, etc)
* Proven experience managing multiple projects and deadlines
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
* College, university, or equivalent Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other relevant disciplines is required.
Compensation and Benefits
