Walter Everett is a recruitment agency and we are currently helping a fantastic company to recruit a Principal Architect/ Enterprise Architect.
This position is more of an Enterprise Architecture position.
As an architect, you will be working across three different functions.
This team gets involved with architecting new ideas. They work closely with all group business leaders. They produce white papers, architecture briefs, conduct extensive project work. They Select vendors, complete RFP’s and case management. Projects can range from replacing the routing platforms to introducing a new analytics platform.
They want people who have a broad understanding of technology and business.
As Principal Architect, you will be
Influencing the evolution of our business strategy and implementation planning, including the evaluation and of potential initiatives and financial justification of these.
Work directly with our business partners, both internal and external.
Engage with different levels of seniority to determine how business strategy translates into solutions to be implemented. • Lead cross-domain and multi-disciplinary architecture engagements.
Chair the Technical Design Authority and identify key design decisions to fulfill the business strategy.
By applying your relevant expertise, you will assist commercial, technology and operational teams in ensuring the delivery of the complete scope and business outcome is on time and within the budget.
Work with commercial, legal, and procurement to progress agreements with 3rd parties to enable solution ensuring operational perfection and commercial value.

You’ll have:
a wealth of experience in either telecommunications, broadband, satellite, and media industries, preferably in Western Europe and/or North America.
a background in either carrier-grade network or large-scale software architecture.
A consultative approach to leading partners, business engagements, and initiating projects.
You will benefit from your intellectual flexibility and pragmatism in finding out the relevance of various aspects of a given multi-domain architecture in order to identify allowable shortcuts and “quick wins”.
Working knowledge of industry-specific cross-domain architectures for OSS/BSS and network integration, including automation of business processes and telecommunications industry standards (eTOM, TAM)
Skills at preparing concise technical documents and presentations; understanding your audience is key and your style and content should be appropriate for C-suite engagements through Delivery teams.
The vision to anticipate problems and issues as well as the creativeness to provide solutions.
