We are looking for a talented Business Process Analyst to join our team specializing in Engineering for our Corporate Business Segment/ Corporate Business Unit located in Minneapolis, MN. This role will be hybrid in your IN or MN home office location.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Subject matter expert (SME) with experience in the design and definition of business processes supporting the engineering function, and Cummins’ product design and development processes.
• Experience in process definition based on established functional excellence best practices, and the transformation of existing /legacy processes and tools into modern PLM tools such as Windchill.
• Demonstrated experience and expertise regarding the definition of functional processes, interpreting business practices into the best in class process management state transitions, and defining the overall business process to achieve the product capability strategy of delivering an enterprise wide / global PLM solution
• Value stream mapping, Lean and process efficiency analysis skills are expected in this role. Six sigma process analysis tools and experience with re-engineering processes is highly needed.
• Integration of business processes, both “upstream” and “downstream” of the target applications, integration of the supporting IT solutions and tools and the know-how to deliver the product strategy to achieve an overall enterprise solution.
• Experience with modern PLM tools and integration of those tools into a system of connected product data management solutions.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• College, university, or equivalent degree required.
• 7-10 years of a significant level of relevant work experience.
• Team leadership experience and project management necessary.

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
