Job Description

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: ​​​​​​​
• Providing manufacturing leadership and improvement focus in operations driving results, creating and monitoring measures, providing motivation, and setting expectations in safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Communicating with customers, suppliers, shop floor, stakeholders, and staff.
• Leading annual operating plan, forecasts, and other measurements for manufacturing operations.
• Provide leadership & strategic vision towards both Exempt and Hourly employees for all of production test at the site and switchgear manufacturing.
• Managing, coaches, and develops staff; works with employees to set goals in training and development, performance, and career planning.

Education, Licenses, Certifications
• College, university, or equivalent degree required.
• This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience
• Significant level of relevant work experience, including managerial, leadership, and budgetary experience, required.
• This role will report to the Director of Genset Systems & Operations at the Fridley, MN Plant. The role will be expected to provide leadership & strategic vision towards both Exempt and Hourly employees for all of production test at the site and switchgear manufacturing.
• Experience working within a production test environment, experience leading teams, ability to manage financial operating plans and history of successfully applying lean manufacturing principles would be preferable skills for the successful candidate.
