Full-Time Express Budtender
Job Description
Job Summary: Budtenders are one of the most important roles in the dispensary and have the power to create a positive and memorable experience for our customers. Express Budtenders are expected to have superior knowledge of all cannabis products and accessories sold in the retail environment along with exceptional customer service skills. A detailed understanding of all policies, procedures and state regulations for dispensing cannabis products along with excellent product knowledge are the two most important components of the job. This position reports to the Director of Retail.

All employees are expected to perform their roles by meeting the expectations set forward within the core competencies as the needs of the business demands.
Duties:
- Welcome customers warmly upon entrance to the store
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times
- Verify customer’s state issued ID before each transaction
- Guide customers through their purchases by answering menu and accessory questions accurately to build a lasting relationship with clientele
- Positively contribute to the culture and ideals of the company
- Keep a clean, organized and compliant product storage area and register
- Use computers, tablets or other technology to complete sales transactions
- Restock accessories and other supplies for sales displays and POS
- Perform daily inventory audits on cannabis products and accessories
- Complete continuing education and RVT training as required by management and State regulations
- Responsible for daily opening and closing duties such as stocking, counting cash drawers and deposits, organizing products compliantly, dusting, sweeping and mopping
- Answer phone and web inquiries
- Be a team player and assisting fellow employees when needed
- Packaging sales orders compliantly for customers
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of retail sales experience
- Top-notch customer service skills
- Exceptional knowledge of cannabis products and accessories
- The ability to learn and retain educational information and product training
- Passion for continued education within the cannabis market
- Must be 21+ and possess a valid state issued driver’s license or ID
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to work well with others and independently
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Must be able to work a varying schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
Other Qualifications:
- Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
