Full-Time Construction Project Manager (d/f/m)

Your mission

Ableton is growing and transforming. With over 400 employees between our two Berlin offices working in a hybrid set up, we are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to help us rethink and reshape Ableton’s workplace environments. Together with the Office Design/Build Team and relevant stakeholders, you will increase productivity and foster collaboration through space design, planning, and construction.

Your responsibilities

  • You work with project teams and stakeholders across the organization to understand employee needs and redesign spaces for hybrid (physical and distributed) collaboration
  • You initiate, plan, execute, monitor, evaluate and close office construction projects within given timeframe and budget
  • You support the leadership team to facilitate the overall construction project roadmap and co-define milestones with internal and external stakeholders
  • You assess, track and manage project risks and manage third party dependencies (contractors, suppliers, property management, etc.)
  • You negotiate and manage contracts and relations with contractors, suppliers and property management
  • You communicate design ideas visually, through graphic representation
  • You map out construction project phases and review architectural drawings with project team

Your profile

  • You are detail-oriented, proactive team player with a collaborative and growth mindset
  • You have excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills paired with dynamic and precise communication
  • You are effective and efficient in leading and delegating tasks among a diverse project team
  • You are effective in time management and able to oversee and lead several projects simultaneously
  • You have a degree in Architecture, Construction Engineering or have equivalent qualification
  • You have 5+ years of professional experience, preferably in office project types, in all phases of design and construction, with the ability to work independently
  • You are knowledgeable about German construction laws, building codes and health & safety standards
  • You are fluent in both English and German, C1 level or above
  • You have proven abilities in architectural CAD software, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • You bring technical affinity in learning tools such as Jira, Confluence and Miro
  • You are willing and open to learn agile planning methodologies
  • You are willing to relocate to and work from Berlin
