DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a talented Global Contract Risk Compliance Lead – EMEA to join our team specializing in purchasing for our Corporate Business/CBS Segment in United Kingdom. This is a 100% remote position that may require travel post pandemic.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Providing ongoing support and guidance with sourcing teams for the procurement of goods and services for Cummins enterprise.
• Identify indirect categories, primarily responsible for leveraging legal experience, knowledge, and competencies in stewarding supplier contracts (direct and indirect categories) to completion in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
• Working to ensure supplier risk management processes are understood and that teams are compliant with Contract, Risk and Compliance Center of Excellence processes and Corporate policies.
• Engage and collaboratively communicate virtually and in writing with key stakeholders including but not limited to colleagues in Legal, Finance, and Supplier Quality in support of defined deliverables. Work includes some strategic and analytical work.
• Conduct intake meetings with suppliers and working mostly with Europe, the Middle East and Africa, first lawyer and the go to resource for legal guidance when it comes to supplier negotiations.
• Facilitate project and training sessions through to completion with regional sourcing stakeholders (direct and indirect) utilizing CRCCoE defined processes, tools, and resources.
• Effectively monitor and manage timelines, project milestones, tracks and communicates performance and completed tasks within the CRCCoE and with appropriate stakeholders.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• College, university, or equivalent degree. As an example, a Law degree or Paralegal Certificate, Legal focused studies, or prelaw undergrad.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Fluent in multiple languages such as Spanish, German etc. is a plus
• Strong legal contract acumen/experience

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
