Position Summary
DX.io is Centralized engineering portal providing seamless access to high quality curated technical content for different phases of Software Development Lifecycle. This comprehensive portal will provide ratified design patterns, tech stacks, best practices, paths to building Cloud, Mobile, Web, and Data applications.

This role demands high-quality attention to detail, UX/ Product/Service design, and program management competencies.
What You’ll Do
This role will focus on designing products and services, leading product teams to deeply understand and document customer/user behavior, pain points, desires, considering the whole system and each detail from the user’s perspective. You will play a critical role in creating excellent end-to-end design solutions which encompass more than just interfaces. You will collaborate to orchestrate the many functions needed to deliver a designed experience with a team of developers, UX designers, engineers, and product partners in envisioning possibilities to reshape the client Associate experience.
You’ll sweep us off our feet if you can
- Translate business and user needs and technology constraints into solution concepts that are meaningful, easy to use, and engaging
- Lead and support discovery of the project lifecycle, including workshops, user and stakeholder interviews, analytics, audits and benchmarking
- Utilize quantitative and qualitative research to generate meaningful insights that will drive creative concepts
- Design journey maps, navigation design, sitemaps, information architecture, wireframes, storyboards and prototypes
- Bring complex data products to life through maps, dashboards and infographics
- Create a meaningful User Experience (user interface design comps, visual design specs, prototypes, and other visual assets) for medium-sized, diverse projects by participating in overall project design definition activities
- Driving creation of design concepts, interactive mocks and specs that will advance the overall developer experience while maintaining the branding guidelines
- Presenting designs to the key stakeholders
- Work with Engineering leads to determine the efficacy of a given solution
- Research (market and user research) activities and deliverables to plan, test and execute the recommended user experience to the Product Manager
- Evangelize design practices across the org

- Leading strategy and execution on products and service using design practices to drive quantifiable business outcomes
- Planning and facilitating product strategy, experience mapping, research, design workshops and meetings to act on behavioral evidence
- Planning, prioritizing, coordinating, and conducting competitive analysis, research, task analysis, information architecture design, interaction design, and usability testing
- Presenting design ideas with clarity and passion, and to receive feedback with to partners for design decisions
- Getting buy-in on ideas within a large organization through expert communication skills
- Excelling in all areas of user experience design (information architecture, interaction design, visual design, prototype engineering, content, user experience)
- Designing and Developing software products – understand business and technical needs, conduct and iterate on research findings, design and build initial solutions, test, learn, fail, and do it over again.
- Championing design philosophy that is inclusive of all people and effectively communicates with kindness and empathy.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 7 year’s design experience OR Master’s Degree and 5 year’s design experience
5+ years of UI/UX experience
- Knowledge of platform-specific (web/mobile) interface patterns and behaviors
- Obsessive attention to detail and strong visual design skills reflected in a portfolio of recent work
- Experienced at defining problems and objectives through data, research, and understanding of customers, and letting those objectives inform elegant, practical solutions
- Experience facilitating user research, service prototyping and usability testing
- Great visual, verbal and written communication skills in service of storytelling
- Proactive, self-sufficient and professional, with strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience working in an Agile development process
- Excellent communication with team and various stakeholders
- Expertise with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, InVision, and Zeplin to develop and communicate experiences
- Experience working within brand guidelines
- Experience working with Design Systems
Good to have
- An advanced degree in Design, HCI, or a related field
- 10+ years of UX, service design and design research experience
- Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React or other functioning prototype language.
- A seasoned design practitioner with experience in enterprise-level digital product design, and knowledgeable in data-driven and human-centered service design
- An ability to guide team members and stakeholders through a design thinking mindset
- An outstanding design portfolio that demonstrates masterful use of systems thinking, UX process flows, composition, page layout, typography, iconography, and color theory to design products and services with immediate visual design appeal (include a link or an attachment with your application)
