Job Description

HR Acuity is seeking Content Marketing Manager. We are a profitable, fun, fast-growing and innovative company seeking a creative team player to lead our content strategy and execution.

 

In this exciting new role, the Content Marketing Manager will report directly to the SVP of Marketing and be responsible for working with stakeholders across the company to identify and prioritize key themes and lead the creative development of strategic content assets that reinforce our thought leadership, grow brand awareness and drive revenue.

 

This role is ideal for a data-driven, resourceful and experienced content marketing professional who has experience owning end-to-end content development and execution. Successful candidates are passionate about the editorial process, research, collaborating with others, crafting compelling briefs, data-driven experimentation and writing.

The Opportunity:

  • Create and develop content that converts and can be leveraged to drive new business, enable sales and increase organic search engine positioning.
  • Develop an overarching content strategy and execute short and long form content to drive inbound and nurture prospects through the buyer’s journey.
  • Develop and manage content calendars.
  • Identify, develop and design marketing offers (including articles, ebooks, videos, case studies, testimonials, infographics and blogs) to address gaps in our content strategy.
  • Leverage external writing partners as needed.
  • Develop and produce reports and dashboards to provide visibility across all areas of marketing e.g. campaign effectiveness, lead generation, pipeline contribution, return on marketing investment, overall marketing performance.
  • Leverage analytics to iterate and evolve the content plan – including the topics we should cover and the content formats we should leverage to maximize the impact on business objectives.
  • Collaborate with other teams – including others in Marketing, Sales and Customer Success teams – to ensure our content is converting against business objectives and key results.
  • Deeply understand challenges and topics that are important to Employee Relations leaders and practitioners.
  • Liaise with external PR agency to craft press releases and drive relevant media opportunities.

 

Qualifications

  • 5 years marketing experience with at least 2 years in content creation
  • Experience in B2B SaaS product and/or human resources preferred
  • Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and work quickly and effectively under pressure: You enjoy a fast-moving, deadline-driven environment and you’re able to proactively manage your own workload, manage ambiguity and balance several projects at one time.
  • Proven understanding of SEO best practices around keyword research.
  • Proven ability to effectively collaborate with others to develop compelling content.
  • Proven ability to clearly and graciously communicate and receive feedback.
  • Proven ability to cite evidence in decision-making, including marketing trends, marketing KPIs, and feedback from GTM stakeholders.
  • Experience with Google Analytics or other Web analytics tools.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, journalism, public relations, or a related communications field.

  • Ability to take initiative and work independently

Location

  • Corporate Office is located in Florham Park, New Jersey but candidate can be remote/WFH. Tri-state area preferred to facilitate some in-person collaboration time.
