Job Description
I. Job Summary
Applies advanced principles of finance to analyze financial and non-financial information. Heavy emphasis on External Reporting.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
- Prepares, analyzes and interprets complex financial and non-financial information to management to provide deeper insights.
- Provides assistance, as needed, in preparing budgets, forecast and financial reviews. Ensures the highest quality of the deliverables.
- Develops, manages and/or participates in action plans to facilitate the implementation and monitoring of operating directives.
- Reviews consolidated month-end results and provides input on deviations from budget or forecast, as applicable. Provides recommendations for future cost reductions or profit improvements, as well as adjustments to forecasts.
- Exhibits a strong understanding of the business to determine the best method for achieving objectives.
- Proactively and effectively consults with other finance and accounting personnel in order to timely and most efficiently achieve company-wide goals.
- Directs, manages and conducts ad hoc information requests. Reports results of findings to Areas, Tiers and Corporate, as applicable.
- As requested, may participate in conducting project reviews, including directing pro forma preparation and financial sensitivity analysis.

IV. Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.
A. Education and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree (accredited) in Accounting, Business Administration or similar area of study, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant experience.
- Experience: Five (5) years previous experience (in addition to education requirement).
B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements
Preferred Qualifications include:
– CPA
– Big 4 experience
– External Reporting
C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required
