Job Description
Mediavine is seeking a Product Manager, who has experience in WordPress site development, subscription/ecommerce software and helpdesk/community tools integrations to join our Product team. We are looking for a “full stack” Product Manager who will have the discipline to clearly define requirements, communicate effectively with both engineering and stakeholders, and take a client centric approach that allows us to provide best-in-class services to clients with a wide range of technical aptitude.

Position Title & Overview
As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of product features associated with our corporate website, as well as our owned and operated (O&O) websites including integrations with e-commerce and community tools.
The ideal candidate will be dedicated to a client-centric approach that allows our customers to learn about blogging best practices to grow their business.
This is a very collaborative role that requires excellent communication skills. You’ll be working with a team of Engineers, QA, UX, Support and Marketing on a daily basis.
The Product team meets regularly to coordinate efforts, learn and support each other and continually improve our process. We place great value on our ability to work together.
Each Product team member routinely presents their vision, roadmap and product progress to key stakeholders.
Basic Job Duties
- Working with marketing team and site owners to develop and maintain websites and pages for our brands and product offerings
- Conduct vendor analysis of e-commerce solutions that allow for sale of software products, the maintenance of licenses, and the auto-renewal of subscriptions
- Collaborating with the UX Team on the design process, supporting them on maintaining a client-centric user experience and consistent design
- Developing and maintaining living product road maps that correctly prioritize work
- Defining clear Product Epics and achievable chunks for engineering teams.
- Conducting regular evaluations of product, market and customer needs to reprioritize / streamline ongoing work.
- Conducting regular interviews with internal and external users to identify potential opportunities for improvement; Distilling user feedback into tangible steps for development.
Requirements
Experience Required
- 2-3 years of relevant work in Product Management using Agile methodologies
- Experience overseeing the development of websites that utilize WordPress
- Experience with Page Speed Insights and Core Web Vitals
- Experience with ecommerce solutions
- Ability to create wireframes and sitemaps
- Passion for polished user experiences
- Ability to cross collaborate with other teams
- Ability to communicate effectively in a remote environment
Bonus Skills
- Developing child themes for WordPress
- Easy Digital Downloads, Stripe, and/or Shopify
- Figma
- HTML/CSS
- SEO Strategy
- Understanding of Ad tech, especially Programmatic Advertising
- Experience with Online Publishing
